With a professional expertise spanning more than a three decades, Michael A. Tannery, Co-Founder and CEO, brings in-depth understanding and successful practice in financial services and wealth management. Michael co-founded Tannery & Company Wealth Management with the mission to help people make informed financial decisions and unbiased investment choices leading to discovering their True Wealth.
A 1981 graduate of Southern Methodist University (BBA), Michael returned to Richardson in 1982 where he has worked, lived, and played since first moving with his parents in 1962. Michael is a 1976 graduate of JJ Pearce HS. Just like Richardson, Michael has experienced many phases of growth over the past 5 decades. From newly married to becoming an empty nester, his focus has always been the same: involvement with the community and giving back to those around him with a true sense of entrepreneurism.
Over the years, Michael has been involved with the Richardson YMCA, the Richardson Regional Cancer Foundation and the Ronald McDonald House. Currently he is the President of the JJ Pearce HOA.
Michael has 3 daughters, Chandler, LynAlise and Hayley. His hobbies include spending time with his wife outside of work, OU football games with his daughters, biking, running and triathlons for fitness, and the occasional round of golf.
